Yes, everyone with a connection to the Internet, Windows XP and the client software from ActiveWorlds can visit AlphaWorlds for free (as Tourist). Download the software from COF and get your immigration number! That's all there is to it! |

Remember that a vrml world is rendering technology and needs a lot of resource from your PC, as well as a good Internet connection. Recommended is a ADSL or better and a Pentium with a minimum of 512MB of RAM. Reserve 10-20MB free disk space if you would like to discover other worlds inside the Active Worlds Universe. |
Use the AW Browser
internal MSIe to be able to launch the URL's (webpages)
inside the PCs, Newsboxes or Mailboxes objects at the FIT
Foundation. To do this, move your mouse pointer onto the
desired object and double-click with your left mouse
button.

The foundation has a modern Subway System. To teleport to the different locations on the diabetes center, just move into the red booth! You will fly directly to your selected destination. You can also walk - it is a great exercise! |
